Charles Jelks: Willing to Go to Great Heights to Win At NCFS/WFC

14324425_532457286879130_6145151550715348584_oTwo months ago, Charles “Zero” Jelks (6-2) captured the NCFS Featherweight Title.

Even if the contest against Justin Cornell at NCFS 3 ended controversially, Jelks displayed the necessary parts of aggression, technique, and creativity to be a champion, escaping difficult situations and delivering an unforgiving offense of his own.

In the first of three amateur title bouts at NCFS/WFC, the reigning, and defending, champ will dangle his belt in front of Matt Aragoni (2-0), luring the visitor from Raul Castillo Martial Arts in Moss Beach, California into a domain with “Zero” chance of return, at least not with any NCFS hardware.

Jelks, according to his Instagram account (link here) will scale a mountain with teammates at MMAGOLD, as pictured below, or Kovar’s Satori Academy of Martial Arts to retain possession of his NCFS belt.

Having reached the peak as an amateur, Jelks, after remaining the king of the hill in the featherweight division on November 5th, will turn his attention toward an ascent as a professional. Watch Jelks elevate, never look down, and shatter the glass ceiling at NCFS/WFC.
